Alsation Land Company recently received the National Pyramid Award for Excellence in Construction from Associated Builders and Contractors, and Louisiana's Best of 2006 Award for Best Building Project for the State Farm Insurance Operations Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which was completed in June 2006. The project is an approximate 65,000 square foot, two-story Class "A," institutional quality structure. This building anchors Towne Center at Cedar Lodge, an upscale, 440,000 square foot mixed use development in Baton Rouge. With several leases expiring in the fall of 2006, State Farm required completion of this building by September 2006. Alsation delivered the building several months ahead of schedule in the post-Katrina Baton Rouge construction market.
